Here are a few of my favourites.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Everglades &#8211; Best for adventure<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Get up close and personal with real life alligators that live in the wetlands of the Everglades National Park. The best way to explore is by airboat which will take you into the heart of the Everglades. You might also spot some manatees and perhaps even the elusive Florida panther.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-2769\" src=\"https:\/\/www.trafalgar.com\/real-word\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/2014\/06\/everglades.jpg\" alt=\"Everglades\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Grand Canyon &#8211; Best for jaw-dropping views<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a park that has been photographed to death, but you can only truly appreciate its vastness and grandeur when you see if for yourself. Definitely one that should be featured on everyone&#8217;s bucket list.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Galapagos Islands &#8211; Best for wildlife<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>These islands off the coast of Ecuador are home to a wealth of animal and plant species that can&#8217;t be found anywhere else in the world. Cruising between the different islands of this Pacific archipelago, you&#8217;ll be able to spot fur seals, pelicans, penguins, red-footed boobies and more.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-2771\" src=\"https:\/\/www.trafalgar.com\/real-word\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/2014\/06\/galapagos.jpg\" alt=\"Galapagos\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Monteverde &#8211; Best for canopy tours<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Although technically this is not a national park, Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve is worth a visit nonetheless. Thanks to its cool and damp climate, the vegetation is extremely lush here. With 400 species of birds and 500 types of butterflies and more than 100 mammals the fauna\u00a0is quite impressive as well. The reserve is decked out with elevated walkways which offer unusual\u00a0views of the park.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-2778\" src=\"https:\/\/www.trafalgar.com\/real-word\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/2014\/06\/monteverde.jpg\" alt=\"Monteverde\" width=\"500\" height=\"332\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Torres del Paine &#8211; Best for glaciers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Located in Argentina, this national park offers stunning views of waterfalls, lakes and towering mountains.
