A local regional delicacy. Fun to see who will try them. Handlebars restaurant in Silverton and Irma&#8217;s restaurant in Cody. They serve it with fresh lemon wedges, in little refrigerated vans along the main streets of passing walking traffic. Surprisingly popular!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Agnes<\/strong><br>Agnes tried fermented shark in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trafalgar.com\/en-au\/destinations\/europe\/iceland\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Iceland<\/a> and shared her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/Ci5WXN5DDxg\/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y%3D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">experience on Instagram<\/a>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>GET INSPIRED BY: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trafalgar.com\/en-au\/tours\/iceland-including-the-blue-lagoon?season=summer+2023\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Iceland including the Blue Lagoon<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-instagram wp-block-embed-instagram\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/Ci5WXN5DDxg\/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y%3D\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Arne Schmidt<br><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.trafalgar.com\/en-au\/destinations\/europe\/germany\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Germany<\/a>: Stuffed pig stomach &#8211; actually very good. In German, it&#8217;s called &#8220;Pf\u00e4lzer Saumagen&#8221;. Former chancellor Helmut Kohl was a big fan of it, coming from the area. He liked to treat foreign statesmen to it with varied reactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Northern Germany, we have a dish called &#8220;Labskaus&#8221;. We love it &#8211; most others wouldn&#8217;t touch it &#8211; but they are wrong, of course. It&#8217;s herring, beef and red beets put through the meat grinder with mashed potatoes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"750\" height=\"499\" src=\"https:\/\/www.trafalgar.com\/real-word\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/2022\/10\/germany-labskau-2.jpg\" alt=\"Labskaus Germany\" class=\"wp-image-871105\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.trafalgar.com\/real-word\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/germany-labskau-2.jpg 750w, https:\/\/www.trafalgar.com\/real-word\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/germany-labskau-2-330x220.jpg 330w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Roberto Astarita<br><\/strong>&#8216;O pere e &#8216;o musso is a typical Neapolitan dish, with its name meaning &#8220;the foot and the muzzle&#8221; in Italian, which refers to its main ingredients: pig&#8217;s feet and cow snouts. &#8216;O pere e &#8216;o musso is usually sold as street food from carts, in the cities in Campania but also in other southern Italian regions. It is a sort of tradition to eat it during the celebrations for the Patron Saint of the different villages. Lots of chilli sauce can do that!
