Edinburgh<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019ll kick off this trip in the capital of Edinburgh where you\u2019ll wander the magical cobbled streets and see historic gems like Edinburgh Castle, the Palace of Holyroodhouse, Rosslyn Chapel and the Royal Mile. If you\u2019re there at the right time, you can even score tickets to the impressive Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Military Tattoo was fantastic. The castles were breathtaking. The Highlands were beautiful.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEdinburgh, Isle of Skye and St. Andrew’s were the 3 must-sees and this itinerary proved all of them plus so much more. I feel like I was there for 2 weeks instead of just one.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scottish Highlands<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

After Edinburgh, it\u2019s time to explore the mystery and history of the Scottish Highlands. Marvel at the ancient castles like Blair Castle and Eilean Donan Castle, set amongst the spectacular lochs, glens and mountains. Learn the history of the battlefield of Culloden and cross to the Isle of Skye for one of the most scenic drives of your life. See if you can spot Nessie at Loch Ness<\/a> then spend the night in a cosy hotel in the Cairngorms National Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Glasgow<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s off to gorgeous Glasgow, where you\u2019ll see famous sights like George Square, River Clyde, Glasgow Cathedral, and the Necropolis. Explore the hilltop fortress of Stirling Castle and walk in the footsteps of Mary, Queen of Scots, then enjoy a wee dram at the Glengoyne whisky distillery. You\u2019ll also get a taste of that famous Scottish hospitality when you meet the Wood family at their 15th-century farm on the shores of Loch Ard. Join them for a home-cooked Be My Guest dinner, as you hear thrilling tales of Rob Roy and dance the night away to ceilidh tunes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe got to see a lot more of Scotland than we would have seen if we were travelling on our own and the [Be My Guest] experience will remain as a very fond memory in years to come. We’ve recommended this trip to friends who are planning a Scotland trip within the next few years.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe signed up for all the optional experiences and they were all excellent. But we were really impressed with Neil the Shepherd and his border collies. Had seen work of border collies in the past, but seeing them actually herding hundreds of sheep on a vast farm was a memorable experience.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
