MORNING<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"24Kick off your day with a trip to the incredible Fisherman’s Bastion<\/strong>. Built in tribute to the Magyars (the founders of the Hungarian nation) the turreted, fairytale edifice offers breathtaking views from Castle Hill and of neighbouring Matthias Church<\/strong>. Just south from Fisherman’s Bastion, atop another lofty summit, sits the Citadella<\/strong>. An imposing fortress overlooking the city, you’ll get a majestic 360\u00b0 panorama.<\/p>\n

Next, take a walk over the city’s iconic Chain Bridge <\/strong>\u2013 it was this construction that first linked Buda and Pest in the 19th<\/sup> century. On the Pest side, in the city centre and adjoining Palace District, you’ll find an array of quaint cafes and coffee shops perfect for a quick lunch. For a truly unforgettable experience, dine at the famous New York Caf\u00e9<\/strong>. The baroque, Sz\u00e9chenyi Baths<\/strong> are Budapest’s largest with fun and relaxing pools to bob about in. They’re open all year round, so in winter the naturally hot baths steam up into the bracing fresh air.<\/p>\n
