The holiday season is officially here, bringing with it all the age old Christmas traditions – mince pies, egg nog, sing-a-long songs, and of course another handful of classic Hallmark Christmas movies you can’t help but indulge in.
The acting may be sub par and the plots may be entirely predictable, but on a cold December afternoon, is there really anything better than a cheesy Christmas flick? We think not, which is why we’re all in for these Hallmark 2019 movie offerings…
A homecoming for the holidays
Airing: Saturday December 7th at 9pm (US)
Channel: Hallmark Movies & Mysteries
Plot: Returning home for the holidays, county singer Charlotte connects with a former soldier who reminds her what Christmas (and life, and love) is all about.
Christmas at Dollywood
Airing: Sunday December 8th at 8pm (US)
Channel: Hallmark Channel
Plot: Dolly Parton and Christmas, need we say more? Well if we must… Rachel, a single Mum, leaves the bright lights of NYC behind to return to her roots in Tennessee. It’s here she is offered the opportunity of a lifetime – to produce a show for the 20th anniversary of the Smoky Mountain Christmas Festival at Dollywood. But there’s only one problem – the park’s entertainment director. Can Dolly save the day?
Christmas in Montana
Airing: Saturday December 14th at 9pm (US)
Channel: Hallmark Movies & Mysteries
Plot: A classic Hallmark Christmas movie that’s as cheesy as they come, Christmas in Montana tells the story of Sarah, who heads to Montana before the holidays to help Travis save his ranch. It’s here she sees firsthand the magic and joy of Christmas.

Angel Falls: A Novel Holiday
Airing: Sunday December 15th at 9pm (US)
Channel: Hallmark Movies & Mysteries
Plot: Die hard Hallmark movie fans may remember the 2017 classic ‘Christmas in Angel Falls’. Well, the actors of this movie are back, in a sequel which loosely follows the plot of the original. In this follow up, a savvy book editor partners up with her rival to help a newbie writer find her voice.
Double Holiday
Airing: Sunday December 22nd at 8pm (US)
Channel: Hallmark Channel
Plot: It’s double the fun in this classic Hallmark Christmas movie, when Rebecca is asked to organise her company holiday party alongside her office rival. But, of course, the party falls on Hanukkah.
Christmas on my Mind
Airing: Saturday December 21st at 9pm (US)
Channel: Hallmark Movies & Mysteries
Plot: It’s confusion all around when Lucy wakes up one morning in a wedding dress, but has no idea who she is supposed to be marrying. Fortunately, ex-boyfriend Zac is on hand to help jog her memory.

New Year, New Me

Plot: The big day may be over, but that doesn’t mean the classic Hallmark Christmas movies have to end. In this last of the season special, a lady focuses on new beginnings and that stroke of midnight kiss.
