Easter is a great time to gather together friends and family and enjoy the very best food and wines. Why not make your Easter feast a little bit different this year by replicating a meal even the Pope would enjoy. We pride ourselves in ‘pinch me’ moments and there is nothing more exclusive than a VIP tour and private meal around the Vatican. So this Easter we are sharing one of our most unique experiences the whole family can enjoy.
Easter Sunday at the Vatican
All foods except Parmesan are produced by the Vatican state mainly from the Villa Barberini estate in Castel Gandolfo.
Tables are set up 10 per table.
Starter:
Olive Ascolane, Small rice suppli, Eggplant balls, fried Zucchini flowers, selection of breads and pizzette, Cheese chest, Marinated Prune and Bacon roulades, grilled vegetables
First course:
Rigatone pasta all’Amtriciana and Crepe with Ricotta and Spinach
Main course:
Saltimbocca alla Romana with pan fried chicory/Ariccia Roast Pork/ Grilled Vegetables
Dessert
Selection of mini Pastries and cakes
Drinks
Mineral water / orange or Pineapple juice / Coffee.
Red Wine SHIRAZ or White Wine SATRICO from Casale del Giglio
