It was great clients should be informed of the heights and side effects
This was an amazing experience with a lot packed into the tour. The Amazon was a bit more relaxed which helped us get over a bit of jet lag. I think the only thing I would change would be another day in Machu Picchu to acclimatise to the altitude.
I would definitely recommend Trafalgar for a South American experience. All the guides were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the different parts of Peru. The tour director was on the ball and ensured that we had nothing to worry about. The Peruvian people themselves were amazing and welcoming to tourists.
Land of the Incas with Peruvian Amazon extension did not disappoint. Seeing all the animals in their natural environment and the landscape was amazing. Meeting the local people, learning about their culture and way of life was also a highlight. Walking around Machupicchu and trying to imagine how the Inca people were able to construct such an impressive place in those times was incredible. Loved it all!
