Iconic geology. Yellowstone is a must see. Trafalgar is the only one to go.
Our tour leader JP was brilliant. Our coach driver Ron was fantastic, safe and friendly always helpful. The accommodation was clean, well located and comfortable. The coach was clean and comfortable. The scenery was spectacular, absolutely breathtaking. We had a fabulous time on the tour and met many friendly people to share our experiences with. I thoroughly recommend this tour.
I wasn’t aware of the extended trip that was available until we were about to depart. . The hotel in Las Vegas was hardly adequate…with all the other choices an upgrade is necessary. And a prearranged airport transfer from LAS would have started the trip on a positive note instead of waiting over an hour for a transport.
The trip and staff were outstanding. It was not Trafalgar’s fault that Yellowstone closed due to flooding but I feel could have done more to add another exciting attractions to make up for what we missed. The substitution of the Holiday Inn for the Old Faithful snow lodge was quite disappointing.
We could not have asked for a better run tour. Everything exceeded our expectations. Great director, driver and associate. All stops were on time, luggage handling was perfect and explanations of the areas were great.

No technical climbing skills are required but a reasonable level of fitness is required to make the trip more enjoyable. Understanding that not all people want to hike at the same pace or even on the same trail we will, where possible, host map orientation and then let everyone disperse to enjoy the trails best suited to them.
