What to pack for Lisbon
Consider your environmental impact when you next take a trip and go single-use-plastic-free by packing a reusable water bottle, a steel straw, your own shopping bags and refillable toiletry bottles.
Most short-stay travellers from the US, Australia, and Europe don’t need a visa for Lisbon—Schengen rules apply. For longer stays or non-Schengen passports, check your government’s travel advisories or Portugal’s official immigration site.
Spring (March–May) and fall (September–October) offer warm, pleasant weather and ideal conditions for exploring on foot. Summer can be very hot, while winter stays mild with occasional rain.
