Good value for the experience, accommodations, time, and location
This trip was certainly Spectacular. My only concerns were a couple of the hotels provided could have been more vigilant with their cleaning, especially in the bathrooms.
Our Tour Director, Nancy and our Coach Driver Rick went over and beyond to ensure that our group enjoyed the very best experience - and we did. They each had a wealth of knowledge relating to anything concerned with our trip and were more than happy to share it. Our Well-being Director, Arsen looked after us, always there with the hand sanitiser, wiping down the touchy spots in the coach and ensuring that our luggage was delivered to us in a timely fashion. Well done Trafalgar!
The tour itinerary was well thought out and covered everything we wanted to see in our western Canada journey. The hotels were all comfortable and conveniently located. The tour bus was extremely clean and comfortable. We appreciated how bus seats were assigned daily to allow all tour participants to have a turn at the "best" seats.
The service we received from our travel director and coach driver was outstanding. Our travel director, Ben Hutchinson, was truly a delight. He not only ensured everything went smoothly and according to plan, he entertained us with his wit and humor. We were so grateful to have him as our guide. In addition, our bus driver Blair drove with extreme care and would make special stops for photo ops that were much appreciated. The hotel and restaurant staff also went out of their way to welcome the tour group and provide excellent service.

What is an Active Trip? This is an "Active" lifestyle itinerary, with walks and hikes most days. Hikes will range from easy/moderate to strenuous. No technical climbing skills are required but a reasonable level of fitness is required to make the trip more enjoyable. Understanding that not all people want to hike at the same pace or even on the same trail we will, where possible, host map orientation and then let everyone disperse to enjoy the trails best suited to them.
What to Pack Guests should bring lightweight hiking shoes or boots, broad brimmed sun hats, sunglasses, layered clothing, reusable water bottle(s), a hiking day pack and hiking poles (optional)
Weather & Altitude While the itinerary is laid out below, we are at the mercy of the weather and so reserve the right to adjust the program as necessary. Please keep in mind that the higher elevations and possible variations in weather and temperature can increase the perceived level of difficulty of our activities. Elevation ranges up to 9,000 feet for Utah’s Mighty Five and up to 11,000 feet for California High Country Adventure.
Everyone reacts differently to altitude and so if you do have any health issues you should check with your doctor that this trip is suitable for you.
