Due to no refunds, though I enjoyed our delayed trip, I will not be using Trafalgar in the future. We should have been given our money back, once covid made our trip delayed. We would have then repaid the following yr. We could have used the money for our families, but was unable to get a refund.
With the weather being so bad at the beginning of the trip, T.D. Dave made numerous phone calls to find an open safe route into Yellowstone so that we wouldn't miss a single stop and he also threw in some small side stops that were quite impressive. Health director Carl was vigilant the entire trip keeping the bus sanitized and providing friendly reminders to stay masked up when we would forget to keep our masks covering our nose and mouth. Driver Dean's driving skills were simply amazing, from getting the bus turned around in extremely tight quarters to controlling the bus during some very high wind situations, he made us feel extremely safe in all situations. Overall, the entire crew was phenomenal. Great job guys!!!!!
Fantastic coverage of the parks with sufficient time to stretch and capture pictures of the beautiful scenery. Any down time in travel was broken by great stories from TD, and movies giving insight to the parks.
Wonderful trip. Super adventure that filled all our expectations. Well planned - great hotels - organized. Our travel director, driver were fun, informative and personable.
If you are looking even further ahead, this trip is available to book in 2023. Visit our website for dates and today’s best prices.
Due to a temporary Jackson Airport closure, trips departing April 11-June 28 will start in Idaho Falls instead of Jackson. The tour will then travel from Idaho Falls to Jackson on Day 2 and continue on as planned.

Active Trip Details
Navigation Close Icon
What is an Active Trip? This is an "Active" lifestyle itinerary, with walks and hikes most days. Hikes will range from easy/moderate to strenuous. No technical climbing skills are required but a reasonable level of fitness is required to make the trip more enjoyable. Understanding that not all people want to hike at the same pace or even on the same trail we will, where possible, host map orientation and then let everyone disperse to enjoy the trails best suited to them.
What to Pack Guests should bring lightweight hiking shoes or boots, broad brimmed sun hats, sunglasses, layered clothing, reusable water bottle(s), a hiking day pack and hiking poles (optional)
Weather & Altitude While the itinerary is laid out below, we are at the mercy of the weather and so reserve the right to adjust the program as necessary. Please keep in mind that the higher elevations and possible variations in weather and temperature can increase the perceived level of difficulty of our activities. Elevation ranges up to 9,000 feet for Utah’s Mighty Five and up to 11,000 feet for California High Country Adventure.
Everyone reacts differently to altitude and so if you do have any health issues you should check with your doctor that this trip is suitable for you.
