Hotels were all great and itinerary well planned. Could have more meals included and there was a lot of free time which was nice.
This trip was amazing...the sites and excursions were absolutely fantastic. There could have been more meals included since we had other trips with less time and more meals. Tour guide was good knew his stuff very organized but could have been a little more entertaining. We were spoiled with an exceptional guide on our last 2 trips and guess we were expecting the same enthusiasm.
Loved the 2 night stays in main towns. Accommodation was comfortable and well located in walking distance from shops and restaurants. The coach was exceptionally spacious and comfortable with wifi access.
The trip was seamless from start to finish - it helped having an awesome tour director (Corey Szy) and coach driver (Richard - unfortunately I don't know Richard's surname)
The itineraryy was full and extremely interesting; there were options if you wanted to do extra but free time was also on the agenda, so you could properly explore and enjoy the region you were staying in. Included meals were always well thought through and so were the venues where we stopped - delightful through and through. We were well catered for, looked after, driven well and entertained beyond expectations and again, I would highly recommend Trafalgar. Oh and one more thing, the Fairmont in Whistler was absolutely superb.
our travel director, sheryl, was absolutely awesome, with a wealth of knowledge about where we were travelling to and through, which made the trip even more interesting; everything was well organised but not suffocating and the hotels we stayed in were all very good and the beds divine; the scenery was out of this world and we felt we got so much more than we paid for. I would highly recommend Trafalgar.
An unforgettable journey through the Canadian Rockies

This holiday was more than I ever expected. The tour guide Cheryl was exceptional. She had a deep knowledge of Canada, the locations we went to and the history surrounding the area. Her knowledge of nature and the first nation people was extraordinary.

Active Trip Details

What is an Active Trip? This is an "Active" lifestyle itinerary, with walks and hikes most days. Hikes will range from easy/moderate to strenuous. No technical climbing skills are required but a reasonable level of fitness is required to make the trip more enjoyable. Understanding that not all people want to hike at the same pace or even on the same trail we will, where possible, host map orientation and then let everyone disperse to enjoy the trails best suited to them. What to Pack Guests should bring lightweight hiking shoes or boots, broad brimmed sun hats, sunglasses, layered clothing, reusable water bottle(s), a hiking day pack and hiking poles (optional)
Weather & Altitude While the itinerary is laid out below, we are at the mercy of the weather and so reserve the right to adjust the program as necessary. Please keep in mind that the higher elevations and possible variations in weather and temperature can increase the perceived level of difficulty of our activities. Elevation ranges up to 9,000 feet for Utah’s Mighty Five and up to 11,000 feet for California High Country Adventure.
Everyone reacts differently to altitude and so if you do have any health issues you should check with your doctor that this trip is suitable for you.
