Embark on a morning exploration tour that takes you from the lively hotspot of Fisherman's Wharf to Union Square, a historical landmark linked to the American Civil War. This afternoon offers a deeper look into two of the city’s iconic spots. A guided Golden Gate Bridge walk takes you across the 1.7-mile span of the magnificent "bridge that couldn't be built." As you gaze across the water (one the Seven Wonders of the Modern World, learn how this iconic engineering marvel was constructed). You’ll arrive in the quaint seaside community of Sausalito with time for shopping or lunch before finishing up with a different view of the bay: a relaxing ferry cruise back to the city. Excellent service, great director, excursions to rave about.
The itinerary is very good. We were able to pack a lot of places into eight days and also have some free time to explore on our own. Jason recommended some places for dinner which we were grateful. He didn’t steer us wrong. All in all the itinerary was very good.
We enjoyed the trip very much. Jason, the tour director, was wonderful with an enormous wealth of knowledge. The coach was very comfortable and the driver, Angel, was a pro at maneuvering the coach through San Francisco and some of the roads leading to Yosemite. We fell very safe. I would highly recommend this trip!
Our tour guide Jason was really informative and had so much information. I lived in Northern California and he told us things that I have never known. This trip took me to places such as Mono Lake and the Eastern Sierra Nevada that I had never been.
