From Moab, travel to Mesa Verde National Park, discovering sheltered alcoves cut into cliffs and ancient pueblo dwellings once home to the Ancestral Pueblo people. In Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park, you hear the engine of an ATV rev, then watch dust kick up behind you as you cruise towards the open horizon with a Navajo guide. At Grand Canyon National Park, you stand at the rim with a Local Specialist as the canyon drops away, layer by layer, in vast bands of rock and shadow.
