Weather in Vietnam

Travel guide

The weather in Vietnam is incredibly varied and contrasting, making every visit a unique experience. In the north, you’ll find four distinct seasons. In the south, it’s tropical all year round. That means you can expect bright green rice fields, warm coastal breezes, and rich sunlight, with some seasonal rains. Spring and autumn are ideal for travel, with warm days, cooler nights, and colourful landscapes. While summer brings monsoon showers, they’re often short-lived and refreshing. In winter, the north cools down while the south stays beach-ready. From north to south, the temperature in Vietnam sets the scene for scenic sightseeing and adventure every season.
