What to pack for Asia
Whether you need a visa to travel to Asia depends on your nationality and the specific countries you plan to visit. Many countries within Asia require visas for tourists, while others offer visa-free entry or visas on arrival. It is strongly advised that you consult your Travel Agent and the local Consulate or Embassy of the country you are visiting well in advance to determine which visas they require and how to obtain them.
As the biggest continent in the world, there's no best time to visit Asia – though the most popular time to visit is the dry season, which lasts from November to April across mainland Southeast Asia and the Philippines. The best time to visit India is from November to February, before monsoon season brings heavy rain and the temperature can get uncomfortably warm from March onwards. The best time to visit Japan is during spring (March to May) and fall (September to November) for mild weather and beautiful foliage.

The weather in Asia varies greatly across the continent; Southern sections of Asia are mild to hot, while far northeastern areas such as Siberia are very cold, and East Asia has a temperate climate. The cool, dry season lasts from November to April across mainland Southeast Asia and the Philippines.
