Across 11 days, you'll travel from Lisbon’s tiled streets to Portugal’s vineyard valleys, lake country and historic northern capital. With your Local Specialist, follow the streets of Lisbon into Belém, where pale stone monuments rise beside the Tagus river. High above the Alentejo, Monsaraz opens onto the Spanish plains and the blue sweep of Alqueva Lake. You'll join a local boat captain on the water, listening to stories of his adventures as the hull cuts softly across the lake beneath the whitewashed hilltop village. In the Douro Valley, you'll sit down to a Farm-to-Table dinner prepared with ingredients sourced nearby, then taste port produced on-site, its sweetness lingering warmly on the palate.
