Everything was very well-organized and every eventuality thought of.
Our Trafalgar tours was well planned with variety and interesting points of interest. The tour director provided concise, yet thorough and complete information during the tour. The driver provided us with safe transportation and the wellness director was constantly cleaning surfaces and providing safe care for all of us.
Seemed like a very fair price for what we got. Would have loved the one hotel to allow us to cool the rooms and would love loved more reliable internet to make calls home.
Certain experiences were amazing like the Granada palace and gardens, monastery above the clouds and the flamenco dancing (food was terrible though). Our driver was WONDERFUL. Mario should get a raise. The hotels were hit and miss. Some hotels the internet barely worked and you couldn't cool the room. Many of us have to sleep in24 degree rooms in Sevilla which was tough when you have such full days and little sleep. David was wonderful. Lovely man and very organized. Could have done without the 8am chat for anhour about taxes lol I think a lot of us wanted to sleep. Maybe use the boxes for topics like that and people can tune in when they want. Then after playing the elton john collection and more....most people bring their own music and entertainment these days maybe just let us do that. Or AT LEAST take a vote. Things were scheduled so well and things were wonderfully organized. We would get to town and the local guide would hope on the bus and do the tour. We'd walk around and our bag would get dropped off and put in our rooms. WOW! amazing! I was blown away by that.
Great itinerary. We were afraid we were going to feel rushed because of how much was packed into 9 days. However, the opposite was true. Because of the level of service provided, we felt relaxed the entire time. All of the travel and sightseeing details were taken care of, and all we had to do was sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride.
We have traveled a lot, and this was truly the best vacation we have ever taken. It was also our first tour of this type, and we would definitely do another similar tour. Our incredible experience was largely due to the incredible level of service delivered by our Trafalgar team. ***********, our tour guide, was absolutely amazing. His depth of knowledge, sense of humor, and caring attentiveness made the trip unforgettable. David, our Wellness Director Joel, and our bus driver "Super Mario" all went above and beyond at every moment. Thank you to the entire team for making this a trip of a lifetime!

What is an Active Trip? This is an "Active" lifestyle itinerary, with walks and hikes most days. Hikes will range from easy/moderate to strenuous. No technical climbing skills are required but a reasonable level of fitness is required to make the trip more enjoyable. Understanding that not all people want to hike at the same pace or even on the same trail we will, where possible, host map orientation and then let everyone disperse to enjoy the trails best suited to them.
What to Pack Guests should bring lightweight hiking shoes or boots, broad brimmed sun hats, sunglasses, layered clothing, reusable water bottle(s), a hiking day pack and hiking poles (optional)
Weather & Altitude While the itinerary is laid out below, we are at the mercy of the weather and so reserve the right to adjust the program as necessary. Please keep in mind that the higher elevations and possible variations in weather and temperature can increase the perceived level of difficulty of our activities. Elevation ranges up to 9,000 feet for Utah’s Mighty Five and up to 11,000 feet for California High Country Adventure.
Everyone reacts differently to altitude and so if you do have any health issues you should check with your doctor that this trip is suitable for you.
