Las Vegas – Grand Canyon National Park Day 2 - Las Vegas – Grand Canyon National ParkSay goodbye to Sin City and depart for Grand Canyon National Park. Along the way, hit the "Mother Road" on historic Route 66. Watch the classic motels and restaurants of a simpler time roll by, framed by stunning desert landscapes. Upon arrival at the Grand Canyon, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, meet with a Local Specialist who walks you through the geologic life of the canyon. You'll become a rock expert yourself as you examine the multi-coloured rocks from different eras of the canyon's formation. This evening, gather to watch the sunset and the fading light gilding the canyon and casting enchanting shadows.

Your tour takes you over the Kaibab National Forest and into the deepest portion of the Grand Canyon, through the Dragon Corridor, and continues to the North Rim, where you view the incredible geological differences between the North and South Rims. During your return to the South Rim, enjoy breathtaking views of temples, shrines and rock formations sculpted by time while flying above the widest portion of the mighty Colorado River. Grand Canyon National Park – Sedona Day 3 - Grand Canyon National Park – SedonaRise early to catch the first sunlight washing over the canyon. If you like, perhaps take an optional helicopter or fixed-wing aircraft flightseeing trip to view the canyon from the sky. Then, travel south through the fragrant pine groves of the Kaibab National Forest and down Oak Creek Canyon where you can admire the stunning red cliffs amid the pristine forests of ponderosa pines on your way to the artists' enclave of Sedona, a lovely town situated in the high desert of Arizona. Lake Powell Day 5 - Lake PowellThe day is yours. Rise early for an adventurous hike or relax in the sun on the shores of this 186 mile (300 kilometre) long lake, formed by the Glen Canyon Dam. Gather with some of your travelling companions for an optional raft experience down one of the prettiest sections of the Colorado River or a scenic cruise on the lake, visiting magnificent Antelope Canyon*. If you want, hit the water on a kayak on one of the lake's glittering bays.

This float trip lets you enjoy all the sights and stops of Glen Canyon in a convenient half-day format. It starts with a two-mile tunnel drive (and dinosaur tracks!) before you board your river craft. It continues to Petroglyph Beach and its fascinating artifacts. You’ll look up in awe at the soaring cliffs above Horseshoe Bend as you learn the stories of the ancestral Puebloan people who lived here. Afterward, you’ll enjoy a stunning motor-coach ride back from Lees Ferry to Page, passing Vermillion Cliffs, beautiful orchards, and historic structures along the way. Approx. duration: 3.5 hours

With a shoreline longer than the entire west coast of the United States, Lake Powell is the second largest man-made lake in the country and one of the top destinations for sightseeing cruises. Be sure to bring your camera on this scenic 90-minute cruise through the Canyons. View towering Navajo Sandstone geologic formations with stunning red and burnt orange rocks, sandy beaches, and sapphire blue waters. Learn about the famous slot canyons and sculpted cracks in the sandstone that are often less than 10 feet wide but can be several hundred feet deep. A photo stop will also be made at the crest of the Glen Canyon Dam, the second largest concrete arch dam in the United States which is more than 600 feet above the Colorado River. Zion National Park Day 7 - Zion National ParkJoin a Local Specialist and naturalist in Zion, for a guided walk and introduction to the flora and fauna of the area. You'll be amazed by the petrified sandstone formation of Checkerboard Mesa and the otherworldly Zion. The rest of the day is yours to immerse yourself in the surrounding beauty. Marvel at the graceful slot canyons, towering cliffs and awe-inspiring monoliths, all carved out over 200 million years from the orange sandstone. Stretch your legs during a stroll along the Virgin River from the Temple of Sinawava to the start of the Narrows slot canyon or hike up to the three Emerald Pools. Spot some of the more than 200 species of birds or join a park ranger to learn more about the inhabitants who live there on one of the many daily programs. This evening, share your adventures with your travelling companions at a festive Farewell Dinner.
