Awarded the title of the world's most liveable city eight times since 2002, Vancouver abounds with green spaces, including several National Parks nearby, and a wealth of lakes and rivers. It's also a first-class contemporary city, where glass towers are framed by mountain range backdrops. At the tip of the city you’ll find Stanley Park, an oasis of green predominantly surrounded by the Georgia Straits. It is here you can admire the First Nation Totem poles in all their colourful glory. Travel by ferry to Vancouver Island and Victoria, a slice of olde tyme England with its traditional style houses, tidy gardens and profusion of flora. Here you'll be welcomed into a family-owned vineyard, where you'll enjoy a homecooked meal made with local ingredients, washed down with wine made with grapes grown in the area and fermented in French Oak Barrels.
