The Irish are well known for their ability to tell a story. In fact, sometimes it’s hard to know where real life ends and the stories begin.

Take a tour of Ireland

A landscape to inspire legends

The Emerald Isle is as diverse as it is stunning. Wild beaches, rugged coastline and green fields stand in stark contrast to its country villages and bustling towns.

Dublin has twice been voted the friendliest city in Europe, as well as being crowned UNESCO City of Literature. The home of the poet Seamus Heaney and the author James Joyce is possibly best summed up by the fact that you can go on a literary pub crawl. Our Local Specialists will give you a special tour of the sights, including St Patrick’s Cathedral, Phoenix Park, Trinity College and the Georgian Squares, not forgetting a trip on a canal barge. And don’t forget the Guinness Brewery, where you’ll learn how to pull the perfect pint.

Cliffs of Moher

The Cliffs of Moher are Ireland’s most visited natural attraction. Stretching for five miles along the Atlantic coast of County Clare, the cliffs are 702 feet high at their tallest point and offer dramatic views. You’ll visit the Cliffs Exhibition, housed in an underground cave, before seeing a side of the Atlantic coast that very few visitors get to see at Lahinch, where you’ll forage for wildflowers and herbs on the shore. Indeed later that day you’ll be shown how to use those same herbs by a local, as they prepare your lunch.

Ring of Kerry

The Iveragh Peninsula, or the Ring of Kerry, is one of the most beautiful parts of the Irish coastland. There you’ll enjoy mountains, lakes, valleys and ocean views, before arriving at a farmhouse from the 1930s, where you’ll be welcomed by your host, Andrew. He’ll introduce you to traditional Irish cooking before you tuck into a home cooked meal, eaten by the light of an oil lamp.
